The Client:
A national organization is seeking a Logistics Manager for their UAE operations.
The Challenges:
Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget, CAPEX.
Prepare and review monthly business performance and recommend corrective action when and if required.
Review monthly departmental P&L.
Stay updated with developments within the Supply Chain field and recommend improvements to the Supply Chain Manager.
Maintain 100% capacity utilization.
Maximize daily trip rates.
Minimize external trailer hiring.
Ensure timely completion of all documentation.
Reduce error occurrence on documentation.
The Credentials:
5 years in managing a fleet of 100 vehicles on a national level.
Must have exposure to the FMCG industry with a major organization.
Must have a sound track record in route planning and “just in time” delivery.
Excellent communicator and coordinator.
Capable of handling the total responsibility for transport operation.
Is organized, systematic and has integrity.
Must be analytical and capable to work in a highly computerized environment.
Must have high level of technical understanding and managing vehicles.
