Job Description: Overview

• 8-10 Years+ experience within a mid to large size organisation
• Bi-lingual (Arabic & English)
• Degree in related field such as marketing
• Experience in publications & advertisement packaging

Brief role description

• Lead communications and public relations strategies and activities, specifically overseeing all media relations, public affairs and executive engagement.
• Responsible for overall implementation of communications plans, initiatives and programs, and the media
• Plan and direct the Corporate Communications strategy of the bank to fulfil its communications requirements and to enhance brand image

Detailed Job Description

• Manage the brand communication for the bank to ensure awareness, positive perception, visibility and competitive advantage
• Manage the bank’s brand positioning through Advertising, PR, digital marketing, social media and events
• Implement communication strategies for various department of the bank, products and subsidiaries in co-ordination with PR, Media, Advertising, Digital and Social Media agencies
• Manage the Social Media Command Centre for the bank with timely and consistent feedback to customers
• Approve and write Press Releases providing a consistent tone of voice for the bank
• Approve all branding elements for the bank
• Manage and update brand guidelines / corporate communications policies and procedures, in order to ensure accurate implementation across all channels
• Prepare and manage Corporate Communications budget
• Initiate and implement market research and planning, in order to advise departments on accurate communication strategies
• Manage the relationships with various suppliers - including Advertising, digital, social media, PR, media agencies and event organisers, to ensure timely delivery of communication requirements within budget

Desired Skills & Experience

• A graduate, degree holder, preferably with marketing specialism Master’s degree advantageous
• Min. 8 to 10 years of specialist marketing communications experience
• Knowledge of advertising, sponsorship and international corporate communication practice
• Good communication & written skills in English and Arabic
• It is not a requirement to have experience within a banking environment, however this would be beneficial.
